I remember growing up eating large bowls of watermelon on my back porch during hot summer months. One summer for fun, I decided to plant the seeds in the outdoor planter. I had no expectations for those seeds to blossom into little tiny watermelons, but it was as if they had appeared overnight. It was an exciting surprise that I remember so vividly.
