I enjoyed drawing Dusk so much, that I wanted to continue playing with strokes and colors, this time adding water and focusing on bolder colors. I love the contrast that's created between the sky, land, and water, which made this piece especially fun to create. The inspiration of this piece came from the time I watched the sunrise atop a mountain in Acadia National Park. It was at that moment when I fell in love with hiking and the great outdoors.
