I love the water just as much as the great outdoors. It comes in so many different kinds of textures, colors, and depth. From an aggressive, deep blue ocean wave to a translucent emerald green pond, water can offer up many surprises. Drawing this piece reminded me of one of the most picturesque hikes I've ever been on in Colorado, where at the very top of the mountain was a crystal green alpine lake surrounded by three-sided sheer cliff walls.
